I learned from the book “Think & Grow Rich” that Thomas Edison didn’t invent a light bulb with his first crack. In fact, he found over 3,000 ways not to make a light bulb, before he actually invented one.
The same holds true for experiencing making money via the internet.
I spent several years, thousands of hours, and over $250,000 learning how not to make money online, before I figured out how to market and sell via the web.
Some of the things I have done:
- I bought many of the high ticket courses from the popular gurus
- I listened to many of the people who appeared to be successful, and
- I went to a bunch of internet marketing conferences.
Most of which were, you guessed it… “JUNK”. Actually worse than junk, they were “black holes” engineered to suck as much money from my wallet as possible.
Fortunately, tenacity is a major factor of success, and I didn’t quit.
I now have two successful web-based companies. I generate a healthy 6-figures per year. Plus, I only have to work a couple of hours per day; I work considerably more because I love what I do, but I only have 2 hrs of critical work that I must do each day.
